Kelly Tinkler
Kelly
is a partner in the Dispute Resolution Group, having joined SGH in April
2009. Kelly qualified as a barrister and solicitor in Australia in 1996,
and as a solicitor in England in 1998.
Most
of Kelly's work has an international focus and he has broad experience
of cross border litigation and arbitration with regards to banking,
shareholder disputes, professional negligence, fraud and money
laundering. Examples of his experience include:
International Arbitration:
Movieco -v- UPC: Recovering $82 million in an ICC arbitration in
Amsterdam for a Disney & Sony subsidiary; Marco Trading -v- Egmatra
[1999] 1 Lloyd's Rep 862 regarding arbitration appeals.
