Nik Haria joined the firm in December 2009 as a partner.  He specialises in construction law having done so since qualification, and has spent time on secondment working as sole in-house legal counsel for a major national contractor.  Nik has extensive experience in transactional work as well as construction disputes and his practice principally deals with:

• The drafting and negotiation of construction documentation in relation to projects of a residential and commercial nature

• Development finance (acting for Banks and developers)

·         • Construction aspects of property transactions

• Adjudication (acting for employers, contractors, subcontractors and consultants)

• Arbitration

·         • Litigation  

Nik also advises developers and property owners in relation to the development of contaminated land and has represented developers in prosecutions brought by the Environment Agency.
