Hinal qualified as a solicitor in September 2008 and joined SHG in June 2009 as an associate in the Employment Law Department. After reading law at City University and completing her Legal Practice Course at the College of Law, London, Hinal joined a leading South East law firm. Before becoming a solicitor, Hinal worked as a compliance officer for GE Money Home Lending and was predominately involved with regulatory compliance monitoring and training.

Hinal has experience of dealing with a range of both contentious and non-contentious employment law matters for both employers and employees. As well as advising on day-to-day employment law issues, Hinal also drafts and reviews contracts of employment, directors’ service agreements, policies and procedures and advises clients concerning business restructure and business transfer employment issues, disciplinary and grievance procedures and all matters relating to the termination of employment.

Hinal also advises clients bringing or defending discrimination and equal pay claims.
