We have a large number of employment agency/employment business clients and are increasingly aware that these types of business have specific requirements which straddle a number of legal specialisms. As a result we have put together a dedicated team of specialists drawn from across the firm to deal specifically with those requirements in a cohesive way.
The head of the team, David Sprecher, is an experienced commercial lawyer who has a long standing relationship with the employment agency/business sector having in the past been finance director in a group of employment agencies.
Fixed Price Pack to Comply with Employment Businesses Regulations 2003
He has assembled a detailed pack for Employment Agencies/Businesses in response to the recent Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations 2003. This provides a comprehensive set of materials for the agency/business to use to ensure that the Regulations are complied with.
Caroline Walker is also able to advise on the obligations of the agency/business from an employment law perspective, particularly in relation to the legal employment status of temporary workers.
The team is also joined by Emma Shipp who is an expert on the law surrounding data protection. This is clearly an area of specific concern for employment agencies/businesses because of the issues surrounding the comprehensive personal information which must be collected from work seekers in order to comply with the Regulations.
